Summation Co-Founder to Speak at University of Hawaii School of Medicine
We’re proud to announce that Summation Athletics co-founder, Dr. Scott Ferguson, will be delivering a guest lecture at the University of Hawaii’s John A. Burns School of Medicine on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM (HST)
Our Co-Founder Dr. Ferguson, is also an Assistant Professor of Human Factors and Behavioral Neurobiology at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He will present some of his latest research in a talk titled:
“Regulating Resistance: Targeting Skeletal Muscle Blood Flow During Exercise with Nitrate and Inspiratory Muscle Training”
This lecture will highlight innovative strategies that leverage dietary nitrate and respiratory muscle training to optimize skeletal muscle blood flow—key insights that can benefit athletes, clinical populations, and individuals preparing for extreme environments.
